Get Better at Writing

I enjoy writing because it allows me to think creatively. It is based on the “right brain” which will rule the future in the 21st century.

My writing has improved significantly since I started writing this blog.

Blogging will help your writing skills. If you practice doing something and learn from mistakes you will increase your skills over time. How do I find time? – I cut T.V., reading unnecessary information, etc.  from my schedule.

Blogging is very enjoyable! Practice. It is a great habit to have to share your thoughts with the world.

New Changes, New Goals

I have decided to change this blog to my personal one.

I don’t have the knowledge or the cash to outsource this information. Therefore, for all your futuristic information and needs, visit singularityhub.

I will be writing about my daily musings, things that are funny to me, and working towards my new and improved life.

After reading 4 Hour Work Week a few times on the Kindle App for the PC, I feel inspired and am moving towards working on my new goals. I will not discuss them as of yet, because I don’t want any of you to get your hopes up.  I will be thinking much more in terms of entrepreneurship, outsourcing, long work weeks, how hard I will have to work, and what my own future holds.

I went on an immediate one week information fast. This is a tip from Tim Ferriss. I cut out any information or media that does not have any direct relevance to my life. That includes twitter, facebook and other things. The reasoning for this was, I questioned if I wanted to do this for the rest of my life, or do I want to do other things, such as workout, cook meals, start a business, find a career, doing anything that is going to help me in the future. I found that I was slightly addicted to social media and it was hard to stop using the site this week. I am about 3-4 days into this information fast.

I cut out reading the news and stopped watching television. Do I want to do this the rest of my life the majority of my life, or can I worry about bigger things like my personal health and career. Some of this was downright negative to myself as there are always negative stories, so they can get you interested in consuming the information. I feel that I will no longer read or watch the news, for a very long time. I found that it has made me more productive in terms of thinking about myself and my passions.

All this extra time will be invested in myself. I will move towards total efficiency as all of the “fat” has been cut out of my schedule and will focus on major improvements. It is amazing how much time we waste reading useless information rather doing something that is relevant in your life. Is this what you want to do with the rest of your life, know all of this information. We longer need to do that because of the internet. Just search in Google and find it. It gives me more time to think creatively about what I need. That is important that you think of yourself about what you need, not some news anchor or commentator.

Last Day of Undergraduate

Today was my last day of undergraduate studies at Temple University.

My day started by waking up at 6:30 A.M. for an accounting final at 8:00 A.M. I then had cereal for breakfast and got moving. As I was walking in to class I found another student explaining that he was up all night. I thought myself that its normal for college students to do so, and I have done so in the past as well. Productivity does not increase when one stays up all night. I found other nervous students sitting around before entering class. They were nervous about the content of the exam. I didn’t feel any emotion that it was my last final in college. I though to myself after taking the final that I will move on to bigger better things with my drive to succeed.

Never give up. Keep moving forward.
